Surveys:

The Existential Survey
On Art. (to promote Made in the Mouths)

Explanation:

I do surveys. I roam the streets and bars at night, the cafes and avenues during the day, asking almost everyone I encounter random, absurd nigh-unanswerable questions on various subjects. Why do I do this? To make your life a little more interesting? To provoke you into thinking about things you aren't expecting to be confronted with? To discover some kind of truth about the population of the City of Milwaukee? Well, the portion of the population who can be found within walking distance of my house on any given day when I've got writers block, anyway.

Or, do I do it to put a little piece of paper in your hand and some smidgen of information in your head that might bloom into a curiosity or a desire to go see some noise or some theatre?

Yep, that's the one. Don't worry, this doesn't make me a whore or evil or desperate, this makes me generous. I'm generous because the shit I promote is good shit that you don't want to be missing, trust me.

Anyway, to keep things interesting, to cast a little bit of doubt on the assertion that this is all just shameless self promotion (because without doubt there is no excitement, and without excitement there is no curiosity, and without curiosity... oh, damn I'm being transparent again) I will be posting survey results and running statistical analyses on those results.

I say will be, because, well... I don’t know how to. But I've got Matt Richardson on it. He's reading spreadsheets, crunching numbers, finding correlations and creating graphs. In the meantime, you lucky fools may read the questions of the conducted surveys, without the answers.

Here they are:
